What
can we expect our home to be like? |
Good
questions. Unlike a room in a hotel, you will find your
vacation home extremely spacious, with plenty of room
for the whole family. The open-plan kitchen, breakfast
room, dinning room, and living room are the perfect
location for the whole family to get together and talk
about their exciting days at the parks. |
Although
all our homes include a fully equipped modern kitchen,
you might not feel like cooking once you see the dazzling
array of restaurants just a short distance from your
door. |
And
of course no Florida vacation would be complete without
your own private swimming pool. All the pools are screened,
so you don’t have to worry about mosquito bites,
even late into the evening. Whether you’re relaxing
by the pool after a busy day at the parks, or soaking
up the year round Florida sunshine, there’s nothing
quite like a private pool. |
We
have decided we want to stay in one of your houses –
what happens now? |
If
you decide that you would like to stay in one of our
vacation homes then the first step is to check availability
for the time you would like to stay. You can do this
instantly on our Reservation
page. You will also get a complete quote for your stay.
Once you have decided on your size of home and dates,
you can then make a secure
reservation on-line. |
What
happens once we have arrived in Florida? |
Our
office is located on Highway 192 about a 20 minute drive
from Orlando International Airport. Once at the office
we will give you the key to your home and help with
any last minute questions you might have. All our houses
are less than a 5 minute drive from the office and we
will give you detailed directions to your new ‘home’. |
What
comes with the house? |
Every
pool home comes complete with all the china, cutlery,
pots and pans that you will need. Plus a large oven,
a large American fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher,
coffee maker, toaster, full size washing machine, dryer,
ironing board and iron. |
We
also supply you with all the towels you will need. Not
just for the bathroom but for the pool as well! All
the beds will be completely made, with a spare set of
sheets for each bed. |
The
living room will have cable TV, video, and stereo. Every
home also has a telephone so you can keep in touch with
friends and family. |
Your
home also includes pool furniture, perfect relaxing
in the Florida sun. All our pools are cleaned weekly
and pool heating is available for an additional charge. |
You
will need to buy (or bring with you) everyday items
like: dishwasher powder, washing powder, toilet roll
(we supply one roll per bathroom) etc. |
| What
address will I be at? |
| We
operate our business much in the same way as a hotel in
that we take bookings up to the number of homes we have
and do not advise you in advance of the exact address
of the property that you will be staying in. This is to
allow guests the flexibility of amending or extending
their stay. We normally allocate homes just before or
on the day of arrival, unless you have booked a specific
property or have booked several properties close to each
other – these are allocated much further ahead of
the arrival dates, particularly at peak season times.
If you need to leave a telephone number behind with family
or friends, we recommend that you give out our office
telephone numbers. We can then advise callers of the telephone
number of your property. Once you have arrived, you will
be able to advise them of the direct number to your vacation
home. |
| If
there are several members of your party arriving at different
times, we would need to know so that we can leave sufficient
keys and directions in our lock-box. You may also use
the lock box as a place to leave messages and directions
for other members of your party. |
Where
are the houses located and how close are they to Walt
Disney World? |
All
our vacation villas are about a 10 minute drive from
all the adventure and thrills of Walt Disney World.
Within a short distance you will also find the excitement
of SeaWorld and Universal Studios. The world famous
Kennedy Space Center is another popular day out. |
| The
houses are all located just off Highway 192 in the Kissimmee
area of Orlando. Kissimmee is a vibrant and exciting area
with a very large selection of restaurants, attractions
and gift shops. |

We
pride ourselves on the quality of the homes, and are
confident that you will be entirely happy with your
property. However if you do find a something wrong we
will be more than happy to sort it out as soon as possible.

|
What
are the local restaurants like? |
With
a fully fitted kitchen it is entirely up to you, whether
you decide to stay at home to eat or try one of the
many restaurants just minutes from your door. |
There
are many national restaurant chains, as well as countless
local ones for you to try. You will find Italian, French,
Mexican, Chinese, Irish, and of course American themed
restaurants in the area. |
The
restaurants are all very reasonably priced, so no matter
what your budget you will find somewhere good to eat.
There are also many places to eat inside the theme parks,
however be warned that these are slightly more expensive. |
And
of course if you feel like a quite night in, but don’t
have the energy to cook, then why not try a take away.
There is a massive selection of Chinese, Indian, and
American restaurants that offer take away food with
free delivery. |
What
is there to do in the Orlando area? |
Orlando
is world famous for its theme parks. |
Walt
Disney World Parks
Magic Kingdom – Fun for the whole family.
The Magic Kingdom was the first theme park in Orlando
and is still one of the most popular. This park has
a large selection of rides that the whole family will
enjoy. This is also the best place to meet Mickey Mouse,
Donald Duck and all your favorite Disney characters.
|
Epcot
– This Park is divided into two areas World Showcase
and Tomorrow Land. World Showcase includes themed pavilions
from many different countries around the world. With
rides, shows, shops and restaurants each pavilion is
individual and just waiting to be explored. In Tomorrow
Land you can learn more about the world in which we
live – Living Seas, The Universe of Energy, Body
Wars, The Land and Test Track are among the attractions
ready for you to discover. |
Disney/MGM
Studios – Discover more about the magic behind
the movies. Disney/MGM Studios includes some of Disney’s
more hair-raising rides. Do you dare to ride the Hollywood
Tower of Terror? This Park includes a number of entertaining
and amazing shows that the whole family will enjoy.
|
Animal
Kingdom – This is Disney’s newest and
most unusual park. With an excellent selection of rides
and shows, this really is much more than just a zoo.
Learn to look at the insects in a whole new light, get
tips on attracting wild animals to your garden, go digging
for fossils, or go on a jungle trail in search of tigers.
Younger children will especially enjoy this park. (This
is the best park to meet Winnie the Pooh and friends) |
Universal
Studios
Universal Studios – This park takes you
behind the movie camera and lets you in on a few secrets
of the film making business. With an assortment of thrilling
rides and exciting shows this park is excellent for
the whole family, although a number of the rides are
not suitable for small children. You never know –
you could even be a star in one of the many TV shows
filmed at the park. |
Islands
of Adventure – One of the most popular and
newest parks in Orlando. Experience the thrills of some
of the best roller coasters in the world – not
for the faint hearted! With an excellent array of rides
this park can’t fail to excite - but be prepared
to get wet! Fun for the whole family, but many rides
not suitable for small children. |
SeaWorld
Adventure Parks

rides SeaWorld is among the most popular theme parks
in Orlando. One of the highlights of SeaWorld is the
world famous Orca (Killer Whale) show staring Shamu. |

newest and most exclusive attraction. At this tropical
beach paradise you can swim with dolphins, snorkel with
sting rays and a dazzling array of tropical fish. Whether
you just want to relax under a palm tree on beautiful
white sand or hand feed colorful birds Discovery Cove
is truly a once in a lifetime experience. The number
of guests admitted each day is limited (tickets have
to be bought in advance), so you will never have to
stand in line and the atmosphere is so relaxing you
would be forgiven for thinking you were on a tropical
island. For more information visit www.DiscoveryCove.com. |
That
just outlines the fun on offer at the main theme parks.
For more information check out our Florida
Information and Links
pages. |
How
do we get attraction tickets? |
It
is possible to buy tickets at the main entrance to the
theme parks, however, this tends to be a more expensive
and time consuming method of buying tickets. There are
often very long queues for the ticket booths, and they
will charge you full price. |
A
quicker and cheaper alternative is to buy your tickets
directly with us. We offer discounted tickets, including
multi-park passes, to all the main attractions. Ask
for details on arrival or see the information pack in
your house. See our Discount
Ticket page for more information. |
